While working in industry for 10 years prior to becoming a professor at RIT, Dr. Kaputa learned the valuable skills of how to stay on budget, track requirements, and deliver real world products.  He is very grateful to have worked with world class engineers from Moog and Lockheed Martin and has boiled down many of the principles learned at those companies into his rules to design by that he discusses in every class that he teaches.
